Polarized Microwave Feeds
This technology, patented by Ferrite, launches a microwave signal into a cavity which
spins, like the hands of a clock, at the frequency of the microwave signal. Developed in
response to market needs, these feeds provide users with a more uniform, efficient and
maintenance free launching technology. Polarized feeds have no moving parts as the
spinning nature of the signal is introduced within the waveguide structure which carries
the energy.
In addition, the spinning voltage at a rate of 915 million times per second has been found
able to interact with water molecules and eject them from a
material, without the need to
heat and boil them. This enables drying to take place at less than the theoretical energy
to heat and boil the removed water.
