The MESO3 process support system has been designed particularly for use in R&D and
process development. Within a relatively small footprint of 12 feet by 5 feet, it provides access
to Ferrite's revolutionary new single mode processor technology. Process parameters are PLC
controlled from operator input or from preprogrammed product menus.

The MESO3 system may be installed in only hours
in a food plant or development laboratory and has
modest utility requirements. For up to 30kW of
microwave power a 60-amp service suffices.
Simulation of a scaleable production process with
a time frame of only seconds may be accomplished
by hand feeding product onto the 5-inch wide belt.
A return conveyor provides for one-person operation. Economical test in this system provide solid data for specifying a dedicated MESO3 production
system. A production system is very small, and may occupy no "new" space as it wraps a
microwave heat environment around a section of transfer conveyor. The production system must
be tuned and shaped to provide uniform heating in this small format. This is accomplished through
the use of Ferrite's simulation model.
