High Energy Physics
Ferrite's Component Group has supplied a wide variety of high power devices to many of
the world's leading universities and laboratories. Specific Ferrite technology in these
applications include minimizing insertion loss, maximizing isolation and ensuring the
devices ability to manage reflections up to 100% without degradation.
Recent advances in energy management such as Ferrite's VSWR Adaptive Tuning
Network (VAT-10) allow Ferrite to maintain a leading role in the next generation of
accelerator physics and research programs. A partial directory of institutions utilizing
Ferrite's technology include MIT, CERN, DESY, LANL, SLAC, BNL,
JLAB, ALBA, ANL, Fermilab, ESS, Princeton and Cornell.
