The Dependable Microwave
Source
When it comes to industrial microwave power,
Ferrite delivers with the GET 2024 Transmitter.
Around the world hundreds of these transmitter units are used every
day to prepare food products
for people in Asia, Europe and North and South America. It's also
used extensively for materials
processing. What makes this transmitter so popular is its durable
design, reliability, safety and
cooking and tempering performance. It is the basic building block
for all of Ferrite's industrial micro-
wave equipment, which operates at either 915 MHz or 896 MHz.
Advanced Technology
The power for Ferrite industrial microwave ovens
is supplied by the GET 2024 transmitter which
incorporates the latest in electronic and microwave technology.
It is a proven, rugged and depend-
able transmitter that provides reliable and safe operation in all
kinds of applications.
Transmitter control is based on use of a local
or remote, via block I/O, Allen-Bradley PLC. Precise
control, of filament power during operation at varying power levels
is insured through the use of a
programable constant current power supply.
A Powerful System
The GET 2024 van be used as a single, self-contained
microwave power unit, where it provides
power in the 5 kilowatt to 75 kilowatt ranges. Or, it can be used
in combination with other Ferrite
transmitters to boost cooking and tempering power up to 750 kilowatts.
GET 2024 transmitters are fully compatible with
other Ferrite industrial microwave equipment such
as the MISSING Continuous Cooking System, MIP 12 Continuous Tempering
Tunnel, and the
MIP 10 Batch Processor.
Precise Computer Control
Each transmitter is controlled by a Programable
Logic Controller (PLC) processor package in
either a standalone or a remote block input/output that can interface
with a remote operator work
station. It performs the control software for the transmitter.
The operator workstation provides functional control
of the system to: display the current status of
the applicator and transmitter, do local maintenance, to provide
initial troubleshooting.
Ferrite System Monitoring Option
Our exclusive Information System management
System (AIMS) permits management personnel to
monitor many aspects of the system, including transmitter operation,
from a remote PC location. This
option lets the supervisor view any parameter, such as power levels,
oven belt speed and through-
put, alarm history, throughput history, and oven arcing on animated,
full color graphical screens.
Warranted for Dependability
Both in- and out-of-warranty service support
is provided by Ferrite Certified field technicians. |
