Ferrite is dedicated to the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art microwave heating
systems and components unmatched in the industry. Our aptitude in the management of high
power microwave technologies is invaluable in providing the most reliable and cost effective
cooking, batch tempering, and drying systems in the world. In addition, we are the world's
leading provider of high power circulators, isolators, couplers, phase shifters, filters, and loads
for industrial, for radar, for medical, for high energy physics and broadcast requirements. We
are expert in precision high power microwave heating systems for engineered wood products
manufacturing. Our activities in broadcast applications such as high power television antennas,
transmission lines, etc. have achieved extraordinary results everywhere. We have extensive
case histories in the customization of systems and the application of components. In food, in
space, in recycling waste--in broadcast technology and wood products manufacturing--in
industrial microwave systems and high power components--We're the leader.

Ferrite Contributes To US Missile Defense at Kwajalein Range Services.

December, 2009 - Ferrite has supplied Kwajalein Range
Services (KRS) with 3 very high power waveguide isolators
for use within  the Tradex L-band Radar. KRS provides its
full resources, capabilities, and expertise in support of the
Ronald Reagan Ballistic Missile Defense Test Site at the
Kwajalein Atoll, in the Marshall Islands. Ferrite's contribution
to this existing radar installation once again demonstrates
Ferrite’s position in the world as a leading manufacturer of
high power microwave devices.

Ferrite Continues to Contribute To Future Science.

December, 2009 - Ferrite has been awarded a major contract to
design, manufacture and deliver 84 high power isolators to Thomas
Jefferson National Laboratory as part of the lab’s 12 GeV upgrade of
the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF).

The devices will operate in L-band and manage 13kW cw of micro-
wave power. The isolators will protect 84 L-band klystrons from
reflections generated within the accelerating structure and therefore
serve as a vital component within the microwave platform. Details
regarding the Upgrade can be found at www.jlab.org/12GeV. The
award was placed with Ferrite after a detailed competitive bid cycle.

Ferrite is very pleased to be part of the 12 GeV Upgrade of CEBAF,
having supplied the initial 344 devices (6kW cw) for the 6 GeV
installation in 1990.
